Adam Steinberg - Camp Director

Coach Coach Steinberg is in his 6th year as the head men's tennis coach at Pepperdine. He has been coaching at the collegiate level for 19 years. In 2006, Adam Steinberg guided the Waves to their first ever NCAA Division I Team Championship and was awarded NCAA Coach of the Year honors. Before coming to Pepperdine, he was the head coach at Alabama for five years, turning the program into a top 20 team. He has also directed summer camps at Alabama and Northwestern. In 2002, he served as head coach for the USA Collegiate Summer National Team. A native of New York, Adam played college tennis at Penn State.

Gualberto Escudero - Camp Director

Finishing his 30th season at the helm in Malibu, Coach Escudero is the veteran member of the Pepperdine coaching staff. He has led Pepperdine to post-season action 24 times in 27 seasons and 8 different squads cracked the top 10. He has spent the past 10 years co-directing summer camps. A former Pepperdine Waves tennis team member, Escudero obtained both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Pepperdine. He resides in Thousand Oaks with his wife, and sons, Egan and Kevin.
